About Tamsin Yoga

Tamsin Yoga was founded in York in 2012. She has been practicing yoga for 30 years, but it was during her time at Brighton University, whilst completing an art and design degree that she really started to notice the benefits. The work she was doing at college really started to take its toll on her body as it involved lots of bashing metal and lifting heavy bags of clay. An hour in a yoga class really helped to knit her body back together and the added benefit of stress relief was just wonderful. Her desire to become a yoga teacher was born from here.

After graduating from her art course in 2003, Tamsin combined her passion for yoga with her love of exploration. She traveled extensively in India for almost a year, seeking out a yoga class and exploring different disciplines whenever she arrived in a new place.
